You see right there is where it should end. Instead of once filing bankruptcy, they split off and sell all the assets, freeze pensions but start handing out massive bonuses to the top echelon in the company all assets should be instantly frozen and held by the courts. Next on the agenda would be that pensions or any kind of guaranteed benefits should all be paid out, then the creditors, and if anything is left the ones who ran it into the ground get the crumbs. https://www.agweb.com/article/borden-becomes-second-big-us-milk-producer-file-bankruptcy?fbclid=IwAR2mj2ci-h3iPXyddSVegvMGBERGpkd4NLOSDzD-KC7o0nanC8IffNsQiJg We cannot as a society keep picking up the tab for all these Corporate Grabfests which are at great cost to the workers and ultimately taxpayers who in one way or another pick up the tab for corporate plunderings.
