The only blight on the otherwise relaxing party on the incredibly beautiful Saturday was a couple who came breezing in as the party was winding down.During their grand entrance they were greeting people as if they were Meghan and Harry, gracing us with their presence, while announcing to everyone they were late because they stopped for massages and facials first. Most of us sat mouths agape, stunned at the revelation. The host spent over $300 just for the pig alone to entertain friends and these obnoxious guests tell them that it wasn't as important as something they could literally do any other day of the week. Is it balls or stupidity? It doesn't matter. They will be removed forever from my guest list because I don't want them prancing into the end of my next party announcing that my party wasn't important enough for them to arrive on time because they were engrossed in watching the maid scrub the bathroom grout. I never understand when I see kindness and generosity rewarded with a slap in the face but I've experienced it and people like that have no place in my life.
