Congress confronts FB regarding censored speech

Writer's picture: NonPCNonPC

In a startling turn of events during the congressional hearings into Facebook cryptocurrency, a congressman confronts Libra boss, David Marcus not only about its cryptocurrency, but specifically about its speech censorship which in effect denies access of cryptocurrency usage to anyone who has been banned from Facebook, such as Louis Farrakhan and alleged hate groups in its quest to control the information flow to its users. https://www.cnn.com/2019/07/16/tech/libra-facebook-senate-hearing/index.html Marcus tripped over his own words while trying to dodge the question but the congressman was having none of it. And upon repeated pleas to answer the question, Marcus continued to dig in his heels and refused to become answerable to the questions of increasing censorship permeating the posts of perhaps everyone except those who exclusively post cat photos.

Still it won't be long before somebody receives an anonymous bequest making him/her/them richer than their wildest dreams while making Zuckerberg the ultimate Supreme Dictator of Fakebooklandand all its inhabitants, with his mug plastered on the face of his own Fakebookland currency for all to admire.
