Jumping to conclusions

It seems that every pool I've attended has had issues, but maintenance seems to be the biggest issue. I suppose it's neither easy or cheap to maintain them so I don't let that get in the way of getting some exercise. I imagine insurance is a huge money suck too, so I don't even mind chain link fence around the deep end of a pool because I know nobody's going to accidentally drown in that area. As it turns out, one of the outdoor pools I attend has just that. Now there is another way to get into the diving well of the pool and that is to walk through the heavily marked Red Zone which a bunch of boys, maybe 5 of them, about 10-12 years old were already tossed out of earlier. So as I'm swimming I observed a little guy about 6 years old walking past the fence towards the opening. Suddenly I hear boys yelling and turned in that direction. The boys who were scolded earlier started yelling at the little boy, "Come back, you can't go over there." "Get back here," they cried. The little boy looked annoyed and confused but the big boys became more insistent so the little boy stomped back to the big boys. The big boys schooled him about the rules of of pool until the little boy interrupted with his shrill whine, "But I have to go to the bathroom!" which as it happened was on the other side of the fence.
