Here's you Covid Stupidity for the day. I went to Advance Auto Parts to get my windshield wipers replaced. I walked into the empty store with no mask and no gloves and walked up to the counter which surprisingly was holding up two employees, neither of which was wearing gloves or masks. I told them i would like for them to install the wiper blades as it is part of their services but they said no they couldn't do that because of the rules. I said, 'What rules? The vehicle is outside in the parking lot and you won't be inside the car', but they were not allowed to do it. They could however sell me the blades they touched and make change with the money I would give them! I walked away with no wiper blades. I am endlessly entertained with how stupid most of this is while nobody seems to notice all the the incongruities, inconsistencies, blatant stupidity and nonsense. It's like being the lead character in a terrible made for tv movie.
