Keeping Patients Sick Pays The Bills

Because I can't wear a mask, I was banned from my doctor's office at Tower Health for 2 1/2 years, even though I am disabled due to multiple chronic illnesses In July, my blood pressure which was always high, skyrocketed and I could literally feel another stroke coming on, so I demanded over the phone and was subsequently prescribed a doubling of 1 of the 3 HBP meds. In early August, I finally got sick of the mask madness and contacted a doctor from a different health system who saw me without a mask, and subsequently requested my records. When Tower Health caught wind of this, I was suddenly and inexplicably allowed to returned to my doctor's office without a mask. The front desk was incredibly rude and mask-bullied me, but I was eventually allowed to see the doctor. From the looks on everyone's faces, it appeared to me that they expected to find a half-dead patient since I had been refused any type of treatment save prescription refills that kept flowing. But instead my blood pressure was finally normal, something it had never been, even on 3 meds, I had lost 6 lbs, built muscle mass, and had weaned myself off the opioids that had been prescribed to me for the past 10 years, so when I returned to the office I was in better health than before the 'pandemic' which he himself remarked upon. In fact I finally felt better than I had in all my years at his practice, and pointed this out to him. 3 weeks later when I returned from vacation, I found a certified letter that he was dropping me as a patient for being "uncivil"!!! Apparently good health and taking control of your own health is not appreciated at Tower Health. #badmedicine #pandemicfailure #fakedemic # #whenpatientsdon'tdie #badhealthcare #patientmistreatment
